Modern punk music sounds aggressive because it often reflects the frustration, anger, and disillusionment of the musicians and their audience. Additionally, the lyrics of punk songs often address social and political issues, personal struggles, and a sense of rebellion, which adds to the overall aggressive tone of the music. The aggressive sound of modern punk music serves as a form of catharsis for both the musicians and the listeners, allowing them to express and release their pent-up emotions and frustrations. **
